What should I expect FROM EVOLUTION HOUSE?
A full-body party on a bike! We spin to the beat of the music and sweat like you’ve never sweat before!
What should I wear?
We suggest tight fitting pants or shorts that are sweat wicking, although you can spin in whatever type of athletic clothing you feel comfortable in.
Do I need special shoes?
Yes, but if you don’t have your own, we offer rental shoes. Our bikes are SPD compatible only. We also are official retailers for the TIEM ATHLETIC cycling shoes. If you are interested in owning your own pair of shoes, ask one of receptionists for more information or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What else should I bring?
A water bottle and lots of energy! If you forget one, we have water for sale.
What do I do when I get there?
Check in with our receptionist or instructor! They will have a waiver ready for you to sign and help you confirm your assigned bike. They can provide you with rental shoes if needed, and answer any questions you may have.
How do I reserve a bike?
Create an account for yourself and continue on to the purchase page. Choose your desired package. If you are a first time rider, choose the "one ride free" and get your first class on us! You must use your free class within two weeks. From there, click the reserve button and choose your class. You can even choose your bike!
What if I need to cancel?
You can absolutely cancel! But in order to avoid a penalty, you must cancel your class at least 12 hours before your scheduled class. If you cancel after this 12 hour time, a penalty of one class will be taken off of your account or a charge of $10 will be made if you have an unlimited package. You can cancel by logging into your Evolution House account and clicking “unreserve”. At this time, we do not accept cancellations via email, Facebook, Instagram, or text message.
What if I'm running late? Will you still hold my bike?
In fairness to all our customers, bikes will be released four (4) minutes before class begins. For riders running late, we ask that you call the studio and let us know you are on the way. The receptionist will hold a reservation for up to 10 minutes after class begins though we cannot guarantee you will be given the bike you signed up for. Riders who are more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted into class as it is too disruptive.
I am new to indoor cycling. Will someone help me set up?
Absolutely! We ask that all new riders arrive no later than 15 minutes before their first class. We want to make sure we can show you around and get you set up properly for a safe ride.
How old do I have to be to ride?
Our minimum age is 12 years old and you must be 4’11” tall at minimum. If you are under age 18, you may not ride unless a parent or guardian signs a waiver for you in person.
Parents: please note that music played by instructors in classes may contain profanity. If you are uncomfortable with this, please check in with our front desk staff so they may help you choose the right instructor for your minor.
Are the classes for all levels?
We have classes for everyone. Whether you’re a first time rider or a cycling aficionado, there is a class for you. We are here to push you, but also encourage you to listen to your body when you ride at Evolution House. If you are unable to do a certain move, don’t do it! If you need a break, take it! Every other week we do offer an “Evolution 101” class which is perfect for first time riders who want to get acquainted with the fundamentals.
ARE YOU A STUDENT?
If you are currently enrolled in school, we offer a 10% student discount on our monthly unlimited and 10-ride packages. All you need to do is submit proof of registration or a copy of your class schedule. Just give us a call, text, or email us for more information on how to set this up.
